As most of you are well aware – CHALLENGE ISRAMAN is a sports event in respect to which the work and expenditures of the organization on the event, begin many months before the day of the competition.
Naturally, in these days of Corona virus uncertainty, the running of the CHALLENGE ISRAMAN competition is subject to possible restrictions due to the corona virus, to the extent that such restrictions will exist at the end of January 2024.
Possible restrictions due to corona virus are not under the control of the CHALLENGE ISRAMAN organizers, and the question if such restrictions will exist at the end of January 2024, is yet unknown.
We hope and believe that on January 26, 2024, there will be no impediment to the running of the CHALLENGE ISRAMAN , and that the event will run to the full satisfaction of CHALLENGE ISRAMAN competitors.
However, in view of the organization’s extensive costs and expenditures prior to the competition, and the theoretical possibility that there may be restrictions that will not enable running the competition due to the corona virus, a condition for registration for CHALLENGE ISRAMAN 2023 is that if the competition is forced to cancel due to the corona restrictions, not all registration fees will be refunded.
In such a case, the cancellation fees of CHALLENGE ISRAMAN (relative to the preparation costs prior to the competition), will be as follows:

In the event of cancellation of the competition due to Coronavirus restrictions or other force majeure, a refund (according to these rules) will be paid at the competitor’s request in writing up to 14 days after the announcement of cancellation, by contacting CHALLENGE ISRAMAN as detailed in the website. In the absence of a reimbursement requirement, the paid registration fee will be fully transferred to the next CHALLENGE ISRAMAN competition, and will automatically register the participant to the same event distance, without any extra charge.
By registering, you acknowledge that you agree to, accept these conditions.
To the extent that the above conditions are unacceptable to you, you are requested to not register for CHALLENGE ISRAMAN 2024.

Cancellation fees will only be given to those who have purchased the improved cancellation insurance no later than 14 days from the original registration date.

For purchasers of cancellation insurance, there is no need to justify the cancellation, and the refund of the registration fee less the above amounts will be given for cancellation for any reason. Anyone who cancels his registration will not be entitled to a participant kit.

Changing heat is optional only until the end of the registration 1.1.24 .
From CHALLENGE ISRAMAN 226 to CHALLENGE ISRAMAN 113 (both individuals and relay team) – you will get a refund of the difference between the price you paid and the current price of CHALLENGE ISRAMAN 113 minus 100 ILS handling fee, or if current price is higher you will need to pay the difference.
From CHALLENGE ISRAMAN 113 to CHALLENGE ISRAMAN 226 (both individuals and relay team) – with an additional payment of the difference between the price paid and the current price of CHALLENGE ISRAMAN 226 (limit to late registration fee).
From individual starter to relay team – you will get a refund of the difference between the price you paid and the current price of a relay team member minus 100 ILS handling fee.
From relay team member to individual starter – with an additional payment of the difference between the price paid and the current price of individual starter (limit to late registration fee).
Transfer the registration fee to another event is not possible.
Individuals – No transfer is allowed.
Relay – Replacing an athlete in a relay team is possible: the replaced athlete will cancel his registration and his payment will be refunded as explained above. The replacing athlete will pay registration fee according to the date of the replacement. In order to do this replacement please contact us with the registration number and the names of the replaced athlete.
