Important Clarifications:
Partial Payout: Athletes who finish the race but do not meet the minimum time requirements listed above will be eligible for 25% of the original prize amount.
No Payout: No prize money will be awarded to Elite participants finishing beyond the following cut-off times (representing an additional 20 minutes for the 226 and 10 minutes for the 113):

“King and Queen of the Mountain” Competition
The “King and Queen of the Mountain” competition at Challenge Israman 2026 will be named in memory of the late Nadav Goldstein.
The competition, which measures the fastest climbing time on the iconic Netafim ascent, is being renewed in memory of Nadav an Israman from Kfar Aza who was murdered on October 7th. The prize for the fastest male and female climbers is 2,500 ILS each (*excluding Elite and Relay categories).
“Diamond Masters” in memory of Major Chen Yahalom
Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall in the Half-Iron distance among all participants who are not in the Elite category:
- 1st Place (Men/Women): 2,000 ILS
- 2nd Place (Men/Women): 1,000 ILS
- 3rd Place (Men/Women): 500 ILS
Course Record Bonus!
A cash prize of €1,000 will be awarded to the athlete who breaks the course record in the Half Distance.

Women’s Current Record: 4:28:22 (Set by Rebecca Robisch, 2024)
Please note: Awarding of the prize is contingent solely upon breaking the record.
The Israeli champion trophy will be handed out to the the first Israeli citizen in the elite category, man and woman, to cross the finish line in each distance.

It is forbidden to accompany a participant, except the last few meters before the finish line, as will be explained in the briefing.
The registration is opened through the website only, until the January 4st 2027, or until the participants maximum quota is achieved (the first one of both).
A participant who will complete registration but not complete the payment, will be removed from the participants list and will not be permitted to take part in the race.
All participants must show the organizers (during the preset declared dates) a health permit and an insurance policy that covers sports events and races, as explained below.

The number of places is limited to 1,500 bikes on the road (three is considered one pair of bikes).
Each participant who registers to the race, must provide in advance to the organizers the following statements in English:
- A health permit signed by a doctor confirming that he/she is physically capable to take part in the CHALLENGE ISRAMAN Race.
- A signed statement saying that your insurance covers personal accidents including accidents while racing in a triathlon official event.
- Israeli participants – please refer to the explanation in Hebrew, as the requirements from Israelis are different than those of the foreign participants.
- Both documents must be valid for the race date, and must be uploaded to the system here.
- Please note that you will not be able to participate in the CHALLENGE ISRAMAN Race without these documents.

The “King and Queen of the Mountain” contest in Challenge Israman 2024 Will be named after the late Nadav Goldstein.
One of the iconic parts of the Challenge Israman competition is the tough ascent of the Eilat mountains to Netafim, at the beginning of the cycling route. 16 km (from T1 to the top of the mountain next to T2), which have a significant part in the fact that the competition is considered one of the most challenging in the world.
the fastest man and woman to ride to the top are the “King and Queen of the Mountain”. This year, this competition returns and it will be dedicated to the memory of the late triathlete and ISRAMAN Nadav Goldstein, who was murdered in his home by Hamas’s terrorist on October 7.
Kafrit Industries and the Goldstein family donated a prize of 2,500 NIS to the fastest climbers. The prizes will be awarded as part of the traditional closing ceremony which will take place the day after the competition on Saturday.
