Accommodations
The Official Hotel of Israman 2011 is Sport hotel of the Isrotel chain
It is located roughly 100 meters from the Start point on the beach. The Finish line will be at the entrance to the hotel.
All the pre race activities (collection of bags, briefings and pasta party) as well as post race (award ceremony) will take place at the hotel.
We have clinched a special deal with both the hotel and the chain and we highly recommend that you take advantage of it.

A world class result for an Israeli ironman
Gilad Rotem, a medical student achieved in Ironman Austria the best result ever by an Israeli. With his 8:43 hours Rotem finished 13th in the overall category and first in the 25-29 group age.
Israeli Champion Lior Zach-Maor (second in Israman 2009) stopped the clock with his 9:30 hours, his personal best.
All in all an impressive Israeli contingent of nearly 100 triathlets is participating this summer in the varioys European and USA long distance and ironman competitions.
Most of them will show up at the start line of Israman Negev 2010.

Israman Negev 2010 is officially declared as the International Israeli Championship in both the ironaman and half ironman distance.

Slots to Ironman roth
We are proud to announce that Israman Negev will allocate 5 slots to Ironman Roth in Germany. The exact selection process will be announced soon.

Prize Money
Israman Negev will award prize money and other freebees to the winners of the full and the half races. The exact sums and the allocation will be announced very shortly.

Israman-Negev is on. The countdown begins. In due course
we will publish news and updates here. At the moment we are at the
final stages of negotiating sponsors and dealing with our official
hotel headquarters in Eilat, which is the Sheraton Moriah. Stay tuned.
